Nothing beats these cute hand-made (hehe) Christmas tree ornaments we made last year! I had this fun idea to make these every year and just fill up the tree with them! I mean how cute, small hands getting bigger every year. Love it!
Still not too late ofc but I ran out of time this December for this years set. The to-the-thing-well-in-advance-so-you-actually-do-it gene is not what I got! But I will get there, maybe, hopefully. I work best under pressure and this wasn’t, no one but me needed it, which means I did not prioritize doing it. Even tho I really want them. Very typical me, and that’s fine, I know myself! Last year we made a pair for the kids’ grandmother as well. I should have known to do the same this year—then they definitely would have been done… Well well, better luck next time.
For the ornaments we used, and very often uses for other things, an air dried clay! No oven needed, just let it dry all by itself! You can paint the clay once it has fully dried. The clay is white but I used white acrylic paint for these ornaments, to make them glossy! I have linked the clay down below if you want to take a look! We have made so much fun stuff out of air dried clay, and I have tried different brands but this one definitely wins!
These cute little hands, hanging there in the tree, will always remember me on how small they once were!
